Early Finish Cocktail Masterclass
January Incentive
January is a pretty miserable month so we decided to run a 3 week, 80’s game show-themed incentive, to get the Black Sheep teams motivated! The aim of the game was if you beat your target you get to spin the wheel that’s full of prizes for you to win! At the end of the 3-week incentive, we chose our top 20 performers from the company-wide leader board, to go on our Early Friday Finish Incentive!
January’s Early Friday Finish Incentive was a free lunch at Jamie Oliver’s Restaurant in Brighton, followed by a cocktail masterclass in Mungo’s bar. It was really great to see everyone getting stuck in and having fun after all of their hard work.

"The incentive was really good fun! Lunch was really tasty and the cocktail making was really funny too, especially considering the instructors were naive enough to allow Black Sheep to free pour their own cocktails! However everyone was on best behaviour and on the whole I think everyone made some pretty yummy drinks!"

With 11 days to go until Christmas and our Christmas party that evening, our admin department thought it was only fair to celebrate by ordering pizza for lunch! The Christmas Countdown has started!

With 8 days left until Christmas we celebrated by wearing our most outrageous Christmas Jumpers in the office! The member of the Flock with the best jumper won a £50 Love 2 Shop voucher. Our winner this year was James Thomas who’s in the bright red jumper with a massive turkey on it below!

Not only do we look after our own employees but we also want to make sure that all our customers are happy too! Every Christmas we send our personalised biscuit tins to all our Black Sheep customers and their employees. It’s always good to spread Christmas joy!

With 7 days to go until Christmas day we celebrated by running a pod decorating competition. As ever we weren’t disappointed with the efforts made by the Sales Teams!

They'd designed and created Santa's workshop with impeccable detail right down to the toys they were making, sound effects and a confetti cannon! Congratulations guys it was brilliant!!🎄❄️🎅🏼🤶🏼

Zoe's Team Christmas DecorationsNot only do we take Halloween very seriously here at Black Sheep, but we also smash Christmas too! We ran a decoration competition for all the teams, with the aim that they all had to work together to decorate their pods. It's safe to say we went all out!

Winners of the pod decorations went to Yas Nayani’s team who made a massive effort with their Santa’s Grotto! They won a half day and were treated to a free lunch at Las Iguanas! We hope you all had a lovely time!

For our final Christmas competition we asked our Flock to dress up in their best Christmas costume! Our winner was Ella Johnson who wrapped herself up, with a little help from Fran, for her boyfriend Micheal. She was awarded with a £50 Love 2 Shop voucher, well done Ella!

Something Fun For A Really Good Cause This Christmas!
The PJ Appeal
Yesterday was Christmas PJ/ Loungewear day in the Black Sheep office, all in aid of Terri’s PJ Appeal!
We first heard about Terri’s story through one of our Client Acquisition Agents, Kirsty O’Connor. Terri’s daughter had a very long battle with cancer throughout the later part of her life, going through extensive chemotherapy. It became a tradition for Terri’s family to buy her daughter a new set of PJs after she’d been through her treatment, in an attempt to make her feel more comfortable while she was in the hospital.
Sadly Terri’s daughter lost her battle with cancer a few years ago, but Terri has made it her priority to carry on that same tradition for other ill children in hospitals all over Sussex at Christmas. She set up a charity where people could donate money or children’s PJs at Christmas, she then wraps and donates all of the PJs to hospitals all over Sussex. We really wanted to help, so we ran a PJ day to try and raise money for her cause.
Thank you to everyone for getting involved and for all of your generous donations. We raised £440 which will all go towards buying sick children in hospitals all across Sussex new pyjamas this Christmas!

November's Early Friday Finish
We sent all our top Black Sheep performers this month, Go Karting! We hired the whole track for 20 members of our team for a go-karting tournament, complete with an awards ceremony! A massive well done to everyone that qualified and pushed themselves to go the extra mile this month.
"I've never been Go Karting before and it was terrifying! Although after a few laps it was actually great! A few drinks (to calm our nerves) afterwards and food rounded up a really fun afternoon with the work gang 🙂 !"

Early Friday Finish - Phileas Fogg's
October Early Friday Finish Incentive
We chose to do something a little different for our Black Sheep October Incentive. Phileas Fogg’s World of Adventure had recently opened just outside of Brighton so we thought it might be an interesting way of getting the Flock together.
It’s safe to say we were all blown away by the experience! It was brilliant. Everyone that was invited seemed to really enjoy the wonderfully weird trip back in time. We took around 20 members of the team with us, it was great because everyone naturally came together to work together in order to solve the puzzles in each of the rooms which made the trip a real success. When we’d completed the experience the team at Phileas put on an amazing spread of snacks and drinks in their saloon bar, all served by the actors, which really kept the experience alive!
"I really enjoyed this fun afternoon with my colleagues. The experience itself was so much fun but also challenging. The highlight for me was the adult ball pit where we has to work as a team to complete the objective, whist trying not to disappear beneath the balls! The characters, decor and different challenges made this both a fun and rewarding afternoon. After the challenges were complete we went to relax in their saloon bar complete with snooker table! We had some food and drinks all on Black Sheep. Thank you Joe!"

Day 1 in the Halloween CountdownOur first day of Halloween mischief in the Black Sheep office consisted of apple bobbing, fishing for a lego man in a bowl of baked beans and blindfolded yogurt feeding! Whoever said work was boring, has clearly never worked for Black Sheep!

We had an 8 day Halloween countdown this year, just because we love it that much! With daily trick and treat tasks, we had lots of fun Halloween themed prizes up for grabs for our top performers.

Day 3 of the Halloween CountdownDay 3 of our Halloween incentive and there's lots more dangling doughnuts and slimy tricks in store for the team!All of our team are being put through some tricky tasks in the run up to Halloween this year! Whenever they hit their target they'll have to take part in a task. For every task completed successfully, they'll be awarded points which build up over the two week period allowing them the opportunity to win lots of great prizes and have lots of fun in the process! 🔮🦇🕸🕷

Pod Decorations
We also ran a pod decoration competition. The winners automatically fast tracked their way to the Early Friday Finish Incentive which was the Phileas Fogg World of Adventure Tour! As usual we weren’t disappointed by the effort everyone put in, with witches legs dangling from the ceiling, hand drawn caricatures, a smoke machine, pumpkins, costumes, music and much, much more!

They really went the extra mile, covering their pod with black out cloth, tranforming the space into a spooky grotto and with the added effect of a machine it would have been unfair to award it to anyone else. Well done guys!

September's Friday Incentive
EARLY FINISH VOLLEYBALL
This month’s Black Sheep Early Friday Finish was volleyball followed by beers! The weather was great considering it was the end of September and although some players were better than others, everyone seemed to have a great time! 😊🏐☀️ Well done again for all of your hard work! 🍻🍾
Combine an afternoon of summer sunshine, sand, a few beers and some questionable volley ball skills and you have yourself a typical Black Sheep incentive. A afternoon down the beach was well received by all, with some demonstrating their hidden sporty skills. Even talk of starting a Black Sheep volleyball team."

"Top Gun eat your heart out! After warming up with some lovely lunch and refreshments we hit the volleyball courts eagerly. After a quick demo from the Yellow Wave staff, we were left to our own spiking, digging, and sand diving devices. Great team spirit and a 'drop' of competitiveness saw a round-robin-style competition followed by all of us on court in an attempt to keep a rally (of any sort) going. Great company and great fun."

August's Early Friday Finish Incentive
Early Finish Fun 4 Friday – Wake-Boarding
Here at Black Sheep, we like everyone to get stuck in and push themselves outside of their ‘pens’, to experience different things and hopefully better themselves, which is why we chose wakeboarding as our Early Friday Finish Incentive this month. We were so pleased to see that the outstanding members of our Flock get involved, with every member of the team supporting one another and really cheering each other on!
Wakeboarding was, of course, followed by some food and booze all on Black Sheep. We hope you all had a smashing time!

August Early Friday Finish Incentive
As one of our Early Friday Finish Incentives, we took some of our outstanding members of the Black Sheep team on a sailing trip to the Isle of Wight where we enjoyed a really lovely lunch. It was such great fun, especially when the weather started to take a turn and the boat really picked up some speed! Everyone was very proactive and got really stuck in with the skippers encouraging everyone to be really hands-on with the sailing of the boat. It was a great opportunity for our Flock members to work as a team and practice their communication skills, they all worked so well together it really made the day a success!
Sailing with Black Sheep was without a doubt one of my best experiences! Having started the day with bacon sandwiches in the harbour, we sailed over to the isle of white for an amazing meal in a lovely little restaurant, I was allowed to sail the boat back through stormy weather (assisted of course!). Felt like something out of Pirates of the Caribbean! A DAY TO REMEMBER!"
