About Yu Water
Yu Water is the business water retailer in Yu Group, the Nottingham company behind the business energy supplier Yü Energy. It isn't the retail arm of a regional water company: it came into the market as a new retailer.
Ofwat granted Yu Water its retail licence in December 2017, eight months after the English business water market opened. Yu Group set it up so its customers could buy water alongside their gas and electricity.

- Wales: only very large sites can switch in Wales
Whichever retailer you choose, your water and sewerage still come from your regional water company. In Wales, only sites using at least 50 megalitres a year can choose their retailer.
